We drove to St. Agatha Maine on Monday 6 July 2026. We were booked to stay at Lakeview Camping Resort and it certainly was a beautiful view of Long Lake. We left Bitsy's house in Corea Maine on Monday 29 June. We left after lunch as Steve had taken our truck in to Ellsworth for a diagnostic and Anita had gone with Bitsy to see a cabin for sale in Beddington. Thankfully the truck issue ended up being a fuse that had gone bad on the suspension system, so it was replaced and the service engine light went off. We gave it the college try to get a campsite inside Acadia National Park at Schoodic Woods Campground, but it was not meant to be this year. On 21 June 2026, we arrived at Sullivan Maine to stay at Acadia Seashore Camping & Cabins for 4 nights. We arrived in Fryeburg Maine on 12 June 2026 to attend the 2026 Escapade 14-19 June. It was 90 degrees with high humidity, very unlike what we know of Maine. It cooled down by Monday, with temps in the mid 70's. When we had signed up, we opted to arrive two days early and stay two days after most left. We left Watkins Glen New York on 10 June 2026 and drove to North Hudson New York for two nights, leaving us one day to site see. We decided to drive to the Ausable Chasm, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake then head back to North Hudson. With other stops we made along the way like at the Adirondack Interpretive Center in Newcomb and an old lodge in Upper Works New York, where Teddy Roosevelt was when he got the call about President McKinley being near death, our one day was full.

We drove to Watkins Glen NY on 7 June 2026. We stayed at Watkins Glen State Park, and it was a little scary getting to the campground with having to drive through downtown in lots of traffic. We finally made it and then had to wiggle our camper into our campsite. I say “wiggle”, because there was no room to maneuver with a narrow street and trees to avoid. We arrived at East Harbor State Park on Lake Erie Marblehead Peninsula Ohio on Sunday 31 May 2026 to stay for five nights. We wanted to go out on Lake Erie for walleye fishing one day and we had made a reservation for Wednesday the 3rd of June. East Harbor State Park is a beautiful place with lots of walking and hiking paths, birding, bicycling and boat launches. Our time here has flown by! On Monday 1 June, we drove into Port Clinton to see the charter boats coming in.

Jerry & Debbie with us - Caesar Creek State Park - 28 May 2026 On 27 May 2026 we drove to Waynesville Ohio to stay at Caesar Creek State Park for four nights. 24 May 2026 was an interesting travel day. We started out in Coldwater Mississippi and within 40 minutes we had traveled in three states with reaching Tennessee and Arkansas within less than 50 miles. Our trip north continued and we eventually traveled through Missouri and Illinois before reaching our destination of Elberfeld Indiana. So that day we traveled in 6 states! We arrived at Memphis South Campground in Coldwater Mississippi on 21 May 2026. We were booked for three nights here and we wanted to see Memphis Tennessee one day while we were here. Although the weather forecast showed more rain chance on Friday than Saturday, we opted to do our Memphis experience on the Friday. We lucked out and didn't need the umbrellas we carried. We had to get fuel and propane while we were out and about, so we found a propane refill place first. N

We arrived in Henderson/Breaux Bridge Louisiana 7 May 2026 for a two week stay to see family and friends. Anita also wanted to introduce Steve to a couple of favorite restaurants and we played tourists one day to show Steve the area. Texas is a large state, so it took us a few days to get from New Mexico to Livingston Texas for our annual doctor appointments. We stopped at San Angelo State Park in Texas for two nights and then Waco Texas for two nights, before arriving in Livingston. We saw all the doctors and Steve got injections of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in both knees on 15 April. We both got clean bills of health from all the check-ups, so we're good on doctor visits until Steve is ready to see

Highlight of our two stops in New Mexico We spent 9 nights in New Mexico on our way to Texas. Two nights were spent at City of Rocks State Park in Faywood NM, then one week at The Ranch, an SKP Co-Op in Lakewood NM. City of Rocks State Park is amazing! The campground is literally among these huge rocks and it’s very quiet. It is located next door to natural hot springs at Faywood Hot Springs Resort. We got a reservation for a soak in a hot spring at 7pm the day we arrived

We arrived in Benson Arizona on 4 March 2026 for one week. We arrived with aspirations to see quite a bit, so we made a list and planned to see sites on certain days while in Benson. Anita got the Yuma blog posting done in the morning of the 5 th , and then we went out to Tombstone and Bisbee in the afternoon.
